Safety in the Home

Parents worry endlessly about how to protect their children from child abuse or abduction, but many manage to overlook one of the biggest threats to their children's safety and well being - their own home.

Even though your new born is too small to get into much trouble on its own - its never too early to make safety a top priority. Always look for hidden dangers and as soon as your baby can sit on its own it's a good idea to get down on all floors and see the world the way they do.

Don't wait until disaster strikes before you think about aspects of safety for the new arrival in your home. With careful planning and a little equipment, you'll be prepared when your baby is ready to explore.

Despite the hundreds of childproofing gadgets on the market, the most important safety device is your supervision.
