Sleep Problems
Getting comfortable in bed may be one of your greatest challenges during pregnancy. Symptoms that interfere with your night's sleep can include a frequent urge to go to the bathroom and leg cramps.
Here are some tips for sleeping success:
- Avoid rigorous exercise right before you go to bed;
- Get into a routine of going to bed and waking up at the same time daily;
- Drink plenty of fluids during the day but limit the amount you drink in the few hours before bed;
- Avoid drinks containing caffeine;
- Sleep on your left side;
- Put a pillow between your legs to keep the legs slightly apart and so reduce strain on the joints of the pelvis.
- Try some simple relaxation exercises
